Dennis is somewhat of a rarity among attorneys. He brings a great deal of real world experience to the practice of law. At age 17, Dennis worked for Houston Construction Company building gas pumping stations for Tenneco in Staples, Minnesota. At age 19, Dennis worked for Houston Construction Company in Hattiesburg, Mississippi as an iron worker. Thereafter, he worked at U.S. Steel driving a charging crane in Gary, Indiana. At age 22, he successfully ran a clothing business for five years before going back to school to obtain his undergraduate degree. Thereafter, Dennis went to Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis and graduated from law school in 2½ years. These experiences help Dennis understand the day-to-day grind that working people endure and the problems experienced by small business owners in owning and operating a business. Dennis worked as a Marion County Deputy Prosecutor before entering private practice. Dennis' current practice focuses primarily on personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and civil litigation. Dennis has over 32 years of experience in representing people who have been wrongfully injured by the acts of individuals, corporations and state and local government officials. Dennis has tried cases in the United States District Court for both Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, as well as many state courts throughout Indiana. Dennis has argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the Indiana Supreme Court, and the Indiana Court of Appeals.
