In the spring of 2003, following eight years of collaboration with the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and St. Matthews Baptist Church, Campbellsville University established its fulltime extension campus in Louisville. First located on Breckenridge Lane, the Louisville Center’s initial concentrations were in business and Christian Studies, adding technology training and testing to its schedule as the Center developed. In 2006, a collaboration with Simmons College was established, carrying the Campbellsville University influence to Metro West. Subsequent to a prayerful approach and consistent growth, the Center relocated to its current site at 2300 Greene Way in the Stonybrook area of Hurstbourne Parkway. The student base at the Louisville Center has multiplied since its establishment. The Louisville Center offers one certificate, two associate degrees, six baccalaureate degree completion programs, along with four graduate degree programs in Theology, Counseling, Business Administration, and the newly announced Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. Also offered at the Louisville Center is the post-graduate Rank 1 program.
